Personal identification information

In order to create an account with AudioFlea, you are required to provide a valid email address at registration and choose a username that may represent your identity on The Site. Depending on which services you choose to use on The Site, AudioFlea may require additional information, such as a dealer and/or seller name, billing information (including billing address, phone number, credit card information), a mobile telephone number, a physical mailing address, and/or payment information. As a dealer and/or seller if you choose specific payment options, AudioFlea may require information such as your social security number or tax ID, date of birth, bank account information and/or credit card information in order to verify your identity and provide this service to you. On certain areas of the site, for example when building a profile, you may optionally choose to provide your full name and other personal information (such as birthday, gender, location, image) to be publicly displayed in connection to your account and activity. Your username, alias or avatar is publicly displayed and connected to your AudioFlea activity. Other people may see your date joined, feedback, ratings, profile information, items listed for sale, seller pages, sold item listings, and comments in community spaces. For quality control and resolution seeking purposes, AudioFlea maintains access to all communication between users through offers, orders, and private messaging and maintains the authority to delete content or suspend an account as a result of any inappropriate behavior including but not limited to harassment, or falsifying information including full name, address, billing information or items listed for sale. AudioFlea may collect and use Users personal information additionally for the following purposes:

- We may need your information to display content on the Site correctly.

- To create your User Account Profile.

You can revoke your permission under your AudioFlea account settings.
You may review or edit the information your provided in your My Account settings at anytime (except your username), and you may remove certain optional pieces of information from being publicly viewed. You may control the receipt of certain types of communications from AudioFlea in your account settings. For various reasons, AudioFlea may contact you about our services or your activity. Some of these messages are required, service-related messages for members and sellers. Other messages are not required, and you can control which optional messages you choose to receive by changing your settings in your account. If you have optionally connected your account to an external, third-party application, such as Facebook, you can remove permission for the app by changing your account settings. If you no longer wish to use AudioFlea services or receive service-related messages, then you may deactivate your account.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. AudioFlea is both a marketplace and a community hub. We are constantly adding new features and improving areas of the site such as the Forum, Blog Comments, User Messaging, Feedback, etc. in order to allow our members to communicate with one another with ease. Please use common sense and good judgement when posting in these community spaces or sharing your personal information with others on AudioFlea. Be aware that any personal information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by others, or could be used to send you unsolicited messages. AudioFlea generally does not remove content from community spaces, and your posts may remain public after your account is closed. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to post in community spaces on AudioFlea. Third party websites
AudioFlea will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you no longer want AudioFlea to use your information to provide you services, you may deactivate your account. AudioFlea will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
